Great Friends
Throughout my growing up years I have many friends who entered my life as well as left. There are so many memories of playing together, watching movies and many many other things which we did together.
As we grew up, we changed along the way and most of us drifted apart. Till now, the closer friends that I have are countable and cant even make up the fingers just on one hand.
I remember my growing up years and when i used to cry and screamed really loudly when I had to go to kindergathen and nursery. There were 2 very important friends in my life then, both of them little boys by the way. One of them was Pei Yu Fen (Whom I cant seem to find anywhere around anymore even on facebook) and the other is Chevy. Pei Yu Fen would come to me hold me and wipe my tears and bring me into the classroom and if i remember correctly Chevy did that too. I still giggle to myself when I watch the video of me acting as Jack’s mother in the school concert then. Its nice having Chevy appear on msn and in facebook sometimes and we do talk occasionally although sometimes I find that I am not sure what to say to him as it has been about 15 years since we were in kindergathen together and definitely we have grown apart in many ways. I do hope that we could build up some kind of friendship so that one day I can say things like “Hey we grew up together and I knew him since I was in Kindergathen!”
The next person whom I used to play with almost every Sunday after church was Denise. Its pretty amazing isnt it to have not spoken to her for so many years and she came to my 21st Birthday. From there we communicated and the amazing thing is that we are now in the same uni! I do see her occasionally in school but it is also different with her because it has been many many years ago. I hope to meet her for lunch or something after school and maybe continue a friendship where we left off many years ago!
I used to have this best friend, Caryn, in Primary school. We were really close last time when we used to sit next to each other in class, had recess and hang out at her place after school. I remember she had a dog name Betsy and she lived in Telok Kurau. A few years back, we managed to get into contact again and I am glad to say that she has grown up to be a fine lady! I am glad to have seen her last year at timbre and know that she is doing well! Caryn, lets have coffee or a meal someday just to talk and catch up!
These are some significant people I remember throughout the years and I hope to keep in contact with and to continue where we left off when we were young. I do also very much to find Pei Yu Fen to see how he is doing now and what he really looks like all grown up!
There are other important people in my life people like Shireen, Priscilla, Hui Xian, Faizal and a few others too.
But as days go by we are finding it more difficult to keep up with each others lives and we have less time together.
Hui Xian, I am not sure if you are reading this but I hope that everything with you is going alright. I wished you would tell us what you are up to that you have been so secretive about for so long. We hope to see you real soon and to speak to you again alright? Call us.
I am glad though that after entering uni I have made a few more friends who I would love to keep for a long time. People always say that uni friends are friends for a lifetime and I hope to keep these two very lovely people for a long long time.

We had a sleepover at Valerie’s place to catch up a little on work and to just spend sometime together as Val’s parents werent in town. It was a nice experience and I would love to do it more often!

I am really happy to have such wonderful people like these and I am looking forward to tml at Val’s place!

Not a usual weekend.
It wasnt a typical weekend. We spent Valentines Day at Ikea having meatballs, chicken wings and some chicken rice thing! Clever me was really late cause I thought that taking a bus there would be faster but instead i ended up there an hour late!
Weimeng made these paper roses for me and I have to say that it was really sweet! (I tried making it a few days after and found it really difficult)It is these sort of stuff that I treasure dearly as comes from the heart and is hand made by him.
On Sunday, after he sent his parents off at the airport he came by to my house and off we went to Simpang for breakfast and headed to wild wild wet as we has free tickets from the chalet the last time! You feel like a kid all over again upon entering the place! It was quite fun especially when we tried filling up the pails with water and over turning it when people walk by so that they would get splashed!
After playing for about 2 hours we decided to shower and head for lunch and we decided on Sakae Sushi’s Halal restaurant. Hei Sushi which sucked real bad. The service was slow and somehow the restaurant made you feel lazy and not wanting to eat much.
We then headed to WM’s place where we just slacked around and slept early.
On Monday we had a slow day doing some work and out for awhile and had sushi again at Hougang as we werent satisfied with our meal the day before.
We spent the next day at home sleeping most of the time and then headed to Simpang at night to try Tulang Merah. I dont really like the taste of it. It taste like bird’s nest and the worst part is that it stains your fingers so yeah I would probably not try it anytime soon.
We woke up to a pretty busier day on wednesday. We left early as WM had to go to Games Haven for some press conference and I walked around central. Went to Fisherman’s Wraf for lunch and back home to catch a np before heading to Kevin’s place for alittle catch up with classmates.

It’s a little sad that our little holiday is over so no more stay over’s at WM place =( But I do hope that there would be many more fun days to come!

Its the school holidays!
Well yes for a week! But there are so many assignments which is needed when school opens and all so it isnt going to be a very relaxing break!

A lovely evening
I had a lovely evening at River Hong Bao watching the firecrackers. The entire event was pretty much disappointing. I prefer the one at the padang for the past few years. I kinda wonder why it isnt held there again.
This year was different. No fireworks but instead they had firecrackers. It’s something I never experience before and it was actually not what I expected. I was expecting something more exciting then just about 12 rows of firecrackers since it was replaying fireworks. Maybe its due to the bad economy?
Anyway after walking around we headed back to Raffles City to purchase my essential oil burner and WM bought me a folder to use for school! It costed $180 but was going for a 70% discount so he paid $54 for it!!
I totally love the feel of it!
After talking with you about somethings I realize that in almost everything I do, I always think of you and I find that you are always really part of my plans =)

I never used to believe this saying as much as it was used. But I’m starting to think that it might be true.
As hard as it may be, I’ll probably have to learn to let go?
But for now, I know I’m hanging there hopeful that things might be clear soon.
I dont know for how long I can do it but I’ll have to let go sometime, someday.
