Handmade sweets

While I was waiting for WM today I decided to walk around central again and I walked straight to STICKY! Well sticky sells traditional handmade candy and I’ve always loved their sweets. I tried them once but i found that the watermelon was over powering but the passionfruit was good!

When I was walking towards the store, I was quite shocked to see why there were so many peopl crowding around and being the kaypo me I decided to take a peep to and realized that they were making the sweets there!!

It seriously took them so much effort to make these they were perspiring! But it is totally worth the taste =)

From these huge gooey sticky stuff to pretty cute sweets!

I found it alittle pricey though for 150g it costs $8.90 ??

What more can you ask?

When you have such a wonderful day like this.

Why was it a wonderful day you may be wondering!

First of all before I went to sleep early this morning, I saw a sweet msg on my phone which was amazingly very reassuring at that time and I had to say I fell asleep with a huge smile on my face!

The first voice to hear on the other end of the phone was your sleepy voice. Hoping that I would be able to get you out of bed in time for our law lecture.

It worked!

Outram Park Station, Four Leaves, Teh Terik and then to School.

Lecture was slightly more enjoyable when you were on the left  and of course Jael was on my right (Now you are included Jael! Its nice sitting with you in class. Thank you for always being so sweet =) !). Too bad I left my double decker under the table in class! =(

Lunch was good with my bunch of classmates though I dont know some of them really well. The noodles was good but nothing beats TAI HWA PORK NOODLES! Lets go queue again!

Crashed my tutorial and drew a rather cutesy picture! It now looks like some beehiveturbanmrsunshineoctopus man.

Dinner together at POPEYES was yummy!

Had a good laugh watching LOL with Selena Tan at SMU, Tau Huay and Home!

Its the simple things in life, the smallest action that makes everything fun and exciting. Its how you treasure and enjoy every moment of it!

A day out with the girls

Last week had a day out with the girls from school and Jael suggested on trying Sun and Moon located at Wheelock place.

I cant remember the name of this but it was really good! There was one topped with avocado which i prefered and the other was mango!

This was my salmon rice. Its interesting the way the had the hour glass for you to time your food before you eat it!

And this tofu cheesecake was seriously to die for. Its really really good!

They were like playing ‘don’t be the one who take the last piece of the cake’.

Just look at Jael having fun.

See how they were like scraping bits and pieces from that plate when there is another piece of Chocolate cake next to them which they kinda ignored? Haha.. so thats how good it was =)

I had a lovely day with them and look forward to more coming our way!

Next would be 126? ;)

Day 4 – Tokyo Disneyland, Japan 14.05.2008

We went back on the 4th day to Disneyland and this time we managed to catch the parade and visit the other towns! So much fun!

Minnie Mouse!!! This is the only picture i managed to get of her because she ran away the minute she was done with the autograph for Trisha! She was in hurry to get ready for the parade!

Running away for their parade!

And the parade begins!

People were going crazy over the churros but when we bought ours it sucked real bad!

The dinner show.

Our main course. It tasted quite good!

The dessert was super shiok!!

And we went crazy at the disney store!!

Time to SHOP!

Coffee Breaks..

Old Town White Coffee has the best instant coffee mix ever. Beats Nescafe hands down!

The coffee is so rich thick and the taste is simply wonderful!

I need more more more!

Day 1 Breakfast at Jonathan’s – 11.05.2008

Upon arriving at Hotel Emion, we tried to check into the hotel but were told that our rooms would not be ready till afternoon. So we decided to look for a place to have a proper breakfast. We checked out the hotel’s bufet breakfast but it costed about 1600 yen if i am not wrong and that is about S$ 21.00 so since we will be having the free breakfast for the next couple of days we decided to try something else.

Since it was so cold while we were walking to the Family Mart (convenience store near by) we spotted a restaurant called Jonathan’s and decided to give it a try!

So much fun we had drawing on Tristan’s pancakes with chocolate in a tube! What a creative idea!

That’s me attempting to draw…

And Tristan…

Trisha’s meal which she ate all the time when we came to Jonathan’s!

That’s my super yummy breakfast! The bread was so shiok! So thick and chewy!

I was very impressed with their service! There was only one guy in the kitchen and one serving! They were so effecient!

We had this button on our table which Trisha did not know what it was and she pressed it a couple of times without us knowing and the guy ran to our table looking very blur and confused and we realised that the bell ringing was from out table! Haha and then we found out Trisha pressed it LOL!

I’ve decided on my birthday cake!

Yes i ordered it last night from Awfully Chocolate! I hope the design is going to be so cutesy. Its going to be a girl with a tiara in a pink dress holding on to a dog. Well they could not make the design whereby i am carrying the dog. So i just had to settle for it being on the “Floor”

One more day in class tonight, half a days of work tomorrow and I can stop working for the next whole week. I can hardly wait!
